Clark Wood Limited in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to oversee a diverse client portfolio, including OMB and SME clients. You will supervise statutory accounts, Corporation Tax work, and provide commercial, advisory-focused guidance to clients.

The role suits an ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE accountant with a strong practice background, capable of managing clients and portfolios with confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE accountant
• Experience in an accountancy practice
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Strong accounts preparation and review experience

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of OMB, SME and corporate clients
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Oversee and review statutory accounts and Corporation Tax work
• Provide clients with accounting and commercial advice
• Manage deadlines, workflow and client deliverables
• Review work produced by junior members of the team
• Work closely with Partners on key clients and business development
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services
