Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The role is site-based with nationwide travel to install and commission air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, retail and leisure projects.

Working from technical drawings, you will deliver high-quality installations while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in air conditioning installation.
• Strong HVAC installation and commissioning experience.
• Experience installing VRV/VRF and split systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of installation standards and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible approach to nationwide travel and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission air conditioning systems on commercial projects.
• Carry out installations in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Install VRV/VRF systems, split systems, and associated equipment.
• Complete controls wiring where required.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• F-Gas 2079 (City & Guilds)
• Valid CSCS Card
• IPAF
• IPAL (where applicable)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Knowledge of Refcom standards.
• Manufacturer training or certifications with brands such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Samsung, or similar.
