Job summary

Artisan Group are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our mobile team covering installations across the South Coast and London, with a base in the New Forest. You will manage each project from planning to handover, delivering high-quality work on site and building strong client relationships.

We provide a company van, mobile phone and tablet/laptop to support you. The role requires independent work, excellent time management and a commitment to safety standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing air conditioning systems.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install a range of air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRF/VRV) across residential and commercial sites.
• Plan and manage your own daily/weekly workload and travel across the South Coast and London.
• Order, source, and arrange delivery of materials and equipment for each project.
• Carry out installations to current industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Test, commission, and hand over systems to clients with clear operation guidance.

Job description

Artisan Group are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team.

This is a mobile, field-based role covering installations across the South Coast and London, with a base of operations in the New Forest.

You'll be trusted to manage your own workload from start to finish - from planning installations and sourcing materials, to delivering high-quality work on site and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

This role suits an engineer who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently, and can organise their own time and resources effectively.

You will be provided with a company van, mobile phone, and tablet/laptop to support you in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Install a range of air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRF/VRV) across residential and commercial sites
• Plan and manage your own daily/weekly workload and travel schedule across the South Coast and London
• Order, source, and arrange delivery of materials and equipment required for each project
• Carry out installations to current industry standards and manufacturer specifications
• Complete pre-installation site surveys where required, identifying any issues before work begins
• Test, commission, and hand over systems to clients, providing clear guidance on operation
• Maintain accurate job records, certification, and documentation using provided tablet/laptop systems
• Liaise directly with clients, site contacts, and the office team to keep jobs on track
• Ensure company van, tools, and equipment are maintained, stocked, and kept in good working order
• Work safely and in compliance with F-Gas regulations, health & safety requirements, and company procedures
• Identify additional works or issues on site and communicate these back to the office promptly.

What We're Looking For
