Job summary

This role installs commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering projects with professionalism and technical expertise.

You will maintain strong communication with customers, continuously develop technical skills, and embrace new technologies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2079 – F-Gas & ODS (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning installation

SK Heating and Cooling Ltd is a respected, innovative provider of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation and Heating solutions across the South West. We’re known for leading the way in A2L system technology, with multiple award‑winning projects and a reputation for high‑quality engineering.

We work with a wide range of commercial clients giving you varied, interesting, and technically rewarding work every day.

Location: Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas

Salary: up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hours

Skills & Qualifications Required

Knowledge Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2079 – F-Gas & ODS (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning installation

Desired (but not essential):

• IPAF / PASMA / CSCS certification

Qualities

• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong interest in the industry
• Willingness to develop and progress through structured training
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
