Job summary

SK Heating & Cooling Ltd in Gloucestershire seeks an experienced heating technician to diagnose, repair, and install domestic and commercial systems. You will ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high customer satisfaction through quality work and clear communication.

The role targets a 40-hour week with overtime, a company van, and ongoing training opportunities. NVQ3- or gas-safety credentials are preferred, with at least five years in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline – preferred.
• Solid fault diagnosis and repair skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CORT1, CICA1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1 required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic work and repairs on heating systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
• Install domestic and commercial heating systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work and communication.

Location: Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas

Salary: up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hours

Qualities

• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong interest in the industry
• Willingness to develop and progress through structured training
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
