Job summary

Academics in Todmorden seeks an experienced ABA Tutor to support children with autism and additional needs in specialist SEN settings. You will work one-to-one or in small groups, applying ABA strategies to develop communication, learning, and independence.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and wider SEN teams to deliver a consistent approach throughout the school day, tailoring activities to each pupil and helping them reach achievable targets.

Qualifications

• Experience using ABA-based approaches with pupils.
• Confident supporting children with autism and additional needs.
• Patient and able to tailor support to individual pupils.
• Strong communication with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group support.
• Work with pupils with autism, communication needs, and SEND.
