Job summary

TARA Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Telford, who are seeking an experienced and confident A Level Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a paternity cover position commencing after the October half term and continuing through to Christmas.

The successful candidate will deliver A Level Maths across the curriculum, demonstrate strong subject knowledge, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning in a supportive school

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification essential
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics required
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level and A Level Maths

A Level Maths Teacher Full-Time Paternity Cover

TARA Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Telford, who are seeking an experienced and confident A Level Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a paternity cover position commencing after the October half term and continuing through to Christmas.

The role

The successful A Level Maths Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across the school, with a particular focus on A Level provision. The school requires a teacher who is confident delivering A Level Maths and able to provide high-quality teaching and learning throughout the placement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher looking for a full-time role from October half term through to Christmas.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Confident and experienced teaching A Level Maths.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and effective lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undertake the required checks.
