Job summary

TARA Professional Recruitment is partnering with a secondary school in Telford to recruit an experienced A Level Maths Teacher for a full-time paternity-cover role starting after the October half term and running through to Christmas.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics with a focus on A Level provision, delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining strong classroom management.

QTS or recognised teaching qualification is required, with experience teaching Maths at secondary level.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong Mathematics knowledge and secondary teaching experience.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons.
• Confident delivery of A Level Maths.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain checks.
