Job summary

TARA Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Telford, who are seeking an experienced and confident A Level Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a paternity cover position commencing after the October half term and continuing through to Christmas.

The successful candidate will deliver A Level Maths across the curriculum, demonstrate strong subject knowledge, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning in a supportive school

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification essential
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics required
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level and A Level Maths

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across the school with focus on A Level provision
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Maintain strong classroom management and professional relationships
• Uphold high standards of teaching and learning and complete DBS checks as required
