TARA Professional Recruitment are working with a secondary school in Telford to recruit an experienced A Level Maths Teacher for a full-time paternity cover from October half term through to Christmas. The role focuses on delivering A Level Maths with high-quality teaching and learning across the school.

The successful candidate will have QTS or recognised teaching qualification, strong Maths knowledge, and experience teaching at secondary level, with commitment to safeguarding and professional

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Confident and experienced teaching A Level Maths.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and effective lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undertake the required checks.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across the school with a focus on A Level provision.
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning throughout the placement.
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Uphold safeguarding and promote welfare of students.
