Job summary

TARA Professional Recruitment are partnering with a secondary school in Telford to recruit an experienced A Level Maths Teacher for a full-time paternity cover from October half term through to Christmas.

The role requires delivering A Level Mathematics across the school, with a focus on high-quality teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have QTS, strong Maths knowledge, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Confident and experienced teaching A Level Maths.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and effective lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undertake the required checks.
