Nottingham College in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative Biology teacher to join our team at the High Pavement Sixth Form campus. This full-time fixed-term contract runs until May 2027, with a strong emphasis on engaging learners and delivering GCSE/A level Biology content.

You will plan, deliver, and assess work, bringing passion, empathy, and creative teaching to 16–18 year olds. Contact Gavin Jones for details and interviews are planned for w/c 30th November 2026.

What you\'ll do

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher in A level Biology to join our diverse, innovate team based at the High Pavement Sixth form campus. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until May 2027. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience of the AQA A level Biology curriculum and those with experience in teaching GCSE Biology/Science.

You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both learners and colleagues, with an imaginative approach to teaching that generates creative lessons to fully engage and inspire 16-18 year olds. Your duties will include the planning, delivery, marking and tracking of assessments and homework tasks (see further details in the job description and person specification).
