What you'll do

The Science Faculty at Nottingham College offers a wide range of subjects in a friendly and supportive environment, with first-class teaching and modern facilities.We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic lecturer to join our team on a part-time contract equivalent to 3 days per week. We welcome applicants who are passionate about their subject and committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning. You will be expected to teach across a variety of programmes, including Levels 1 to 3 and our university level courses. The ability to teach Biology and Chemistry at Level 3 is essential.

A relevant degree in a science subject and a recognised teaching qualification is required. Who we're looking for

Applicants must have recent teaching experience in Further Education, schools, or a comparable educational setting, together with a strong understanding of UK curriculum and qualification requirements across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, including BTEC, Access to Higher Education and T Levels.

Our Science Faculty is committed to raising standards of science education across the region and supports students on both academic and vocational pathways, from Level 1 through to Level 6.
