NCIC in Carlisle is recruiting a Band 3 Patient Flow Co-ordinator for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on coordinating patient flow, liaising with staff and external teams, and ensuring timely transfers. The post operates within a 24/7 ED environment with 12 hour day and night shifts.

Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths and good IT skills, with experience of working with the public and using a computer. NHS DBS and eligibility considerations apply.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience of working with members of the general public.
• Experience using a computer.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the flow throughout the Emergency Department.
• Ensure notes are copied and ready for transfer.
• Facilitate transfers throughout the hospital and to other hospitals.
• Answer telephone and relay messages.
• Ensure correct data entry on Symphony system.
• Work with nurse in charge to run the department smoothly.
• Arrange transport and support reception as required.
