Job summary

NCIC in Whitehaven is seeking a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker for a 5-month fixed term position in the A&E Department at West Cumberland Hospital. The role supports multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality patient care for adults and children.

Applicants should have a Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent, plus a National Care Certificate or be willing to obtain it within 12 weeks. DBS checks and safeguarding provisions apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or social care.

Responsibilities

• Work in the A&E department as part of a multidisciplinary team assisting in the care of adults and children.
• Ensure the organisation and leadership of nursing and midwifery services supports high standards of patient care.
• Support effective patient flows and management of resources in the allocated clinical area.
