Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL is seeking a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver in Southampton to ensure safe and timely delivery of household white goods. The role requires a valid HGV 7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card, with training provided for new drivers.

Heavy lifting is a regular part of the job and accuracy in delivery is essential. The position is permanent full-time with shift patterns Tuesday to Saturday, 6am starts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 7.5T Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Willing to take on newly qualified drivers.

Responsibilities

• You will be delivering household white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc...
• Wets installation training will be provided as this will be required in customers homes.
• There will be alot of heavy lifting involved in this role
• Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role
• Enjoy working as part of a successful team
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

• Pay Rate: £39,985.02
• Grade: CA
• Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
• Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday, 6am - 10 hour days
• Location: Southampton, SO53 4ND
