Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a 7.5-tonne Home Delivery Driver for a permanent, full-time role in the UK. The position involves multi-drop deliveries, pair work, and on-site installation of white goods, with shifts starting early in the day.

The role requires a 7.5t licence (C1), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus at least 12 months of relevant experience and strong customer service skills. DBS and pre-employment checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop delivery of home and garden furnishings to customers’ rooms of choice.
• Work in a 2-person team and assist with installation of white goods (washing machines, dishwashers).
• Drive safely and in compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and Highway Code.

Shift patterns: 1 role working Sunday to Thursday - 6am start and 2 roles working Monday to Friday - 10am start

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Multi-drop delivery of home and garden furnishings, to customers room of choice
• Working in a 2-person team, this is a physically demanding role which also includes installation of white goods such as washing machines and dishwashers
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid 7.5 tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months recent 7.5 tonne driving experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
