Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a delivery role in Darlington. You will join a two-person team delivering furniture and household goods to customers’ homes, with installation support and a focus on outstanding service.

The role requires a 7.5T licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, with full training provided for appliance installations. This is a permanent full-time position in a active, frontline environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 7.5T (C1) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and providing excellent service.
• Active, mobile role with a positive delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture, appliances and household goods directly to customers' homes.
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Assist with installation of wet goods and appliances (full training provided).
• Handle large items safely and professionally.
• Create a positive customer experience at every delivery.
• Drive safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering furniture, appliances and household goods directly to customers' homes
• Working as part of a dedicated two-person delivery team

• Handling large and bulky items safely and professionally
• Creating a positive experience for customers at every delivery
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following industry-leading health and safety standards and vehicle compliance requirements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO...
