Job summary

Driver Hire Inverness is seeking a 7.5T/HGV driver to support our client on an ongoing basis at Dalcross, Inverness.

You will operate a 7.5T vehicle as part of a two-person delivery team, undertaking multi-drop deliveries across the Highlands and Moray, with manual handling and heavy lifting.

The role offers 42.5 hours per week with PAYE pay rates (£16.50–£18.75) plus holiday pay and a potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV / Category C1 licence entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Reliable and able to work well as part of a two-person team.

Pay: PAYE £16.50 - £18.75 | ADV PAYE £18.49 - £21.01

Hours: 42.5 hours guaranteed per week

Contract: Temporary winter placement, with permanent opportunity

Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting a 7.5T / HGV Driver to assist our client on an ongoing basis at Dalcross, Inverness.

You will be driving a 7.5T vehicle and working as part of a two-person delivery team, completing multi-drop deliveries throughout the Highlands and Moray area. The role will involve manual handling and handballing, including some heavy lifting, so applicants must be comfortable with the physical side of the role.

Good knowledge of the Highlands and Moray area would be an advantage, but this is not essential.

Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
