Job summary

Greencore Group in Warrington is hiring a driver to support daily deliveries to convenience retailers and forecourts. You will work five days per week, including Sundays, with a shift starting at 4am. Night-time hours pay an extra £1.15 per hour for hours between 22:00 and 06:00.

Full UK driving licence held 6+ months with up to 6 points and 6 months of HGV experience are required. You will join a large, fast-moving team delivering up to millions of goods annually and will receive on-the-job

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points.
• 6 months HGV experience (7.5T and/or upwards).

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to retailers and forecourts as part of Greencore's nationwide team.
• Work five days per week including Sundays as per shift pattern.
• Receive on-the-job training and partner with another driver at start; potential development opportunities.

ShiftTimes: 4am Start Time

Pay Rate:£14.85 per hour (+ £1.15 for hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday (Week 1) Monday to Saturday (Week 2)

Workload: On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

Overtime:Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

All routes are planned in between 8 to 12 hours long.

Warrington:

A distribution depot serving convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. The depot operates a fleet of 48 vehicles on 53 routes.

What you’ll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.You would be expected to work five days per week,which would include mandatorySundays. With this shift pattern there will be no Saturday work and working day off as well on rotation.On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
