Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable 7.5t Drivers for ongoing temporary work in Southampton. The role involves operating 7.5t vehicles on routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, with daily vehicle checks and paperwork completion.

We offer shifts with competitive hourly pay and full PPE. If you have a valid UK C1 licence and Driver CPC, join a trusted nationwide operation within a leading logistics group.

Qualificações

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure goods security.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while communicating with the operations team.

Hourly Rate: £17.29 - £25.86 per hour

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we're looking for
