Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable and professional 7.5t Drivers to join a leading UK logistics and distribution organisation based in Nottingham (NG9 2RR). The role offers regular shifts and a competitive hourly rate of £17.02–£26.99, with ongoing temporary work and the opportunity to be part of a trusted nationwide operation.

You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes, perform daily vehicle checks, complete delivery paperwork, and work with the operations team to meet

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
