Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a 7.5T Driver in Carlisle to ensure timely deliveries and collections from customer sites, while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role requires a C1 driving licence with minimal points, CPC certification, and Tachograph card, along with a proactive safety approach and strong geographical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7.5T driving experience with a clean licence.
• CPC certification and Tachograph card are required.
• Strong safety awareness in loading/unloading operations.
• Good geographical knowledge and customer interaction skills.
• Willingness to use IT systems and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate 7.5T vehicles for customer deliveries and collections.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before trips.
• Load and secure equipment including heavy items.
• Visit customer sites and communicate with staff and clients.
• Adhere to safety rules and working time directives at all times.

Job description

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented 7.5T Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
