Job summary

Workchain are currently recruiting an experienced 7.5T Driver to join a well-established operation based in Slough. The role will involve delivering a variety of products to customers and businesses across the local area and surrounding regions.

You will be responsible for ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally and on time while providing a high standard of customer service. This is a long-term opportunity offering a consistent 4–5 day working pattern.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T driving licence.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience.
• Previous delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Slough and surrounding areas advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Flexible approach to working 4–5 days per week.
• Able to commit to long-term work.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Delivering a variety of products to customers and businesses.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle as required.
• Ensuring goods are secured correctly during transit.
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining signatures.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Planning and following delivery routes efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Following all relevant driving, health and safety regulations.
