Job summary

Rapier Employment seeks 7.5 Tonne Drivers for its established logistics client in Greenford. You will work a Sunday–Thursday shift from 06:00, with ongoing temp-to-perm opportunities and immediate starts. Earn £19.56 per hour including London Living Allowance, with weekly pay and full training provided.

You will operate a modern fleet in a two-person driver crew, ensuring high safety standards. Overtime is available; successful drivers may secure a permanent post.

Qualifications

This full-time, ongoing temp-to-perm contract pays £19.56 per hour, inclusive of London Living Allowance, with weekly wages. The shift pattern runs Sunday to Thursday, starting from 06:00am, and immediate starts are available. Drivers operate a modern fleet, often as part of a two-person crew, so strong communication and teamwork are essential. Full training and continued support are provided. Candidates should hold a valid 7.5 tonne licence, demonstrate relevant experience and maintain high safety standards. Overtime is offered, and successful drivers may secure a permanent post.

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will work alongside a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop home deliveries.

• Completing multi-drop home deliveries to customers' homes
• Delivering heavy goods and household appliances
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting as part of a two-person team
• Planning delivery routes and completing deliveries efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork
• Providing professional and friendly customer service at each delivery
• Following all road transport legislation and company procedures

Shift Pattern

You will be required to work one of the following shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday. Start times are from 06:00. Overtime may also be available.

What We're Looking For

• A valid UK Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months driving experience
• A flexible approach to weekend working
• Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting
• A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
