Job summary

Workchain in Newmarket is seeking a dependable 7.5T (C1) Driver for deliveries to trade and commercial customers. You will handle loading, unloading, and accurate paperwork while maintaining top customer service at each stop.

The role runs Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm, with immediate start for the right candidate who holds a valid C1 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card. Temporary assignment with potential to continue.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (C1) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Reliable with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to trade and commercial customers.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Complete delivery paperwork and carry out daily vehicle checks.

Looking for your next driving role? We're recruiting an experienced 7.5T (C1) Driver to join a well-established building supplies company based in Newmarket. If you enjoy being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a friendly team, we'd love to hear from you!

What's on Offer?

• £14.50 - £17 per hour
• Weekly pay – every Wednesday
• Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off!
• Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Immediate start
• Initial 2-week assignment with the potential for ongoing work

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries of building supplies to trade and commercial customers
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and carrying out daily vehicle checks

What We're Looking For

• Valid 7.5T (C1) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable
• A reliable, professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
