Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd in Daventry is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers. The role starts early at 6:00am and typically runs about 9 hours per shift, with a full-time, temp-to-perm pathway.

You will be responsible for vehicle checks, completing delivery paperwork, and providing excellent customer service at delivery points while adhering to driver hours and road safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold 7.5T (C1) licence, CPC and Tachograph card.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver, to join a busy and growing operation based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for full-time work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers
• Early morning starts at 6:00am
• Average shift length of around 9 hours
• Ensuring timely and safe deliveries
• Vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

Requirements

• Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• No criminal record - a check will be done
