Job summary

Hiregiant Ltd is recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a well-established logistics operation in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The role involves local collections and deliveries, with a focus on accuracy in paperwork and maintaining high customer service standards.

Shifts typically run 08:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, with roughly 9.5–10 hour days. The role offers weekly pay, and requires a valid 7.5 Tonne/C1 licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, plus multidrop experience.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) licence.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with multidrop is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete 15–25 local collections and deliveries.
• Operate the box truck as required by load.
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately.
• Maintain professional standards and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to a high standard of safe system of work.

We're currently recruiting for experienced Cat C1 Driver to work with a well-established logistics company based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Completing 15-25 local collections and deliveries
• Operating box truck, depending on the load
• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
• Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
• High standard of safe system of work

Hours & Pay

• Start Times: Shifts 08:00 till around 17:30
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Shift Length: 9.50 / 10 hours per day
• Pay Rates: £15
• Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements

• Valid 7.5 Ton (Category C1) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with multidrop is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
