Job summary

Driver Hire are recruiting an experienced 7.5 Tonne driver for a busy client in Birmingham (Erdington). The role offers a temp-to-perm path and a permanent position for the right candidate. Expect early starts, Monday to Friday work, and at least 8 paid hours per shift.

You will be delivering building materials as a Cat C1 driver, with some handballing and a focus on reliability, professionalism and customer service. CPC and Digital Tachograph compliance are required.

Qualifications

• CPC certification is required to operate the vehicle.
• Digital Tachograph usage knowledge is essential.
• Reliable, punctual and professional delivery driver with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building supplies to sites and customers.
• Drive a Cat C1 (7.5t) vehicle on scheduled routes.
• Assist with handballing where required and maintain safe driving practices.

£15.40 per hour | 7am–4pm | Minimum 8 hours paid | Temp to Perm

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Birmingham (Erdington).

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable 7.5T Driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The role starts on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to transfer to the client on a temp-to-perm basis for the right driver.

You will be working as a Cat C1 Driver (7.5t), completing deliveries on behalf of our client. You will need to be reliable, professional and comfortable with an early start. The job will require some handballing as you will be delivering building supplies to mainly building sites.
