The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of a well known client in Durham for a 7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1). You will securely move parcels, load/unload with tail lift, and maintain accurate paperwork while representing the company in a professional manner.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement, 12 months experience, and a safety-first mindset. Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 08:00, with pay at £15.17 per hour. Temp to Perm contract in Durham, DH2.

Qualifikationen

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 Tonne).
• 12 months experience required.
• Be comfortable with heavy lifting and handballing.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Durham area. We are looking for several dedicated 7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1 ) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am starts

Pay Rate: £15.17 per hour

Location: Durham, DH2

Job Type: Temp to Perm

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised or loose parcels to customers or businesses.
• Packages will be heavy (up to 80kg weight)
• Up to 30 drops per day.
• Drivers will be required to unload and load - trucks will be fitted with tail lift for palletised goods
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
