Job summary

HireGiant Ltd. is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver for a position based in Crawley (RH10). The role involves Monday to Friday work with optional weekends, delivering parcels to residential and commercial properties using a 7.5 tonne lorry.

Responsibilities include 12–15 drops/collections per run, heavy handball, self-loading, scanning on PDA, and on-the-job training. The start is immediate, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Cat C1 entitlement on licence.
• Valid Digital tachograph & CPC Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest.

Responsibilities

Job description

7.5 Tonne Driverrequired for a position with our well-established client in Crawley, RH10.

The work is for a Global Company, with many sites across the UK and the Wolverhampton site being one of the newer sites.

The Role of the 7.5T driver:

7.5T Driverwill be required to work Monday to Friday (optional weekends are available).The work starts immediately and involves making multi drop deliveries of parcels to residential and commercial properties using a 7.5 ton lorry.
It can be anywhere from 12-15 delivery stops and collections.
This will involve scanning the parcels before self loading, self tip and some of it can be on the heavier side. The role does involve a large amount of handball so you'll need to be comfortable with that.
Training will be given on the scanning PDA system they use.

Requirements for this role:

7.5 Ton Driver

Cat C1 for 7.5 ton lgv entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
No more than 6 points on licence
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

Hours & Pay of the 7.5t driver:

The start timewill be 09:30 AM Monday to Fridaythe 7.5 ton Driver will work upwards of 45-50 hours over a 5 day period - Monday to Friday.
