Driver Hire Coventry & Tamworth is seeking professional and reliable 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Drivers to support a long-standing customer in Tamworth. You will perform deliveries with a Driver's Mate, loading/unloading, and daily manual handling in a physically demanding, team-based role.

Weekend shifts available with a guaranteed 48 hours' pay on the Friday to Monday pattern, and ongoing work with immediate starts. Weekly pay and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional attitude and able to work as part of a two-person team.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling daily.

Responsabilités

• Carry out deliveries to customer sites as part of a two-person crew with a Driver's Mate.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo at customer premises.

Driver Hire Coventry & Tamworth is currently recruiting for professional and reliable 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Drivers to support a long-standing customer based in the Tamworth area.

• Friday to Monday shift pattern available
• Ongoing, regular work throughout the year

Weekend Shift Guarantee

Drivers working the Friday to Monday shift pattern will receive a guaranteed 48 hours' pay each week, regardless of the hours worked.

The Role

You will be carrying out deliveries to various customer sites as part of a two-person crew, working alongside a Driver's Mate to assist in loading/unloading.

The role involves the delivery and installation of products, with manual handling required on a daily basis. Drivers must be comfortable carrying items into customer premises and working as part of a team to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

This is a physically demanding position and would suit drivers who enjoy an active role rather than solely driving.

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
