Job summary

StaffCo Direct is recruiting 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers in Tamworth for ongoing home delivery work. This role involves two-person teams, delivering white goods and furniture to residential properties, with occasional installation and heavy lifting.

Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, starting around 05:30 or 09:30, with 5 days out of 7. You must hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, and you will undergo a driver assessment and a 3-day training induction.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid 7.5 Tonne licence.
• Has a CPC and a Digi Tacho card.
• Has no more than 6 penalty points.
• A D&A test will be held at assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver white goods/furniture to residential properties in a two-person team.
• Heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
• Some deliveries include installation; training will be given.

for ongoing home delivery work based in Tamworth

What the role involves

2 man home delivery operation delivering white goods/furniture to residential properties, heavy lifting if required. Well-maintained fleet. Shifts are typically 10 - 12 hrs shifts, 05:30/09:30 start times approx, This is a customer focused role so not just a driver, some deliveries include installation which training will be given. The role is working 5 days out of 7 for full time work. The role does entail a driver assessment followed by 3 day training induction and then you would be buddied up with a trainer for your 1st few days to ensure you get a full onboarding process for the role.
