Job summary

Berkmann Wine Cellars Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced 5T Delivery Driver to join our family-owned team. You'll deliver premium wines and spirits to bars, restaurants and hotels across the North of England, from the West to the East, ensuring friendly service and careful handling.

This permanent 40-hour role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no overnights, with paid holidays and benefits, including staff discounts, pension and a company-wide focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experienced multi-drop delivery driver.
• Strong knowledge of North of England road networks.
• Physically fit and able to lift 15 kg cases.
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points; 5T Driver CPC Tachograph licence required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering premium wines and spirits to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other venues across the North of England – from the West to East coast, from the top of the Midlands as far up as Alnwick and everything in between.
• Providing exceptional customer service—you’re the face of the business
• Ensuring timely and safe deliveries while handling goods with care.

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Multi-Drop Driver – Previous experience delivering into the service industry is essential.
• Road Network Knowledge – Strong understanding of North of England road networks.
• Customer-Focused Attitude – Friendly, polite, and willing to go the extra mile.
• Physically Fit – Comfortable lifting 15kg cases of wine.
• UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points – A valid UK licence is required (due to insurance purposes).
• Valid 5T Driver CPC Tachograph licence required.
