Job summary

DEEP Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join our production team. You will turn engineering designs into precision components using a state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machining centre, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

You will set tools, fixtures, work offsets and machine parameters, read detailed drawings, and inspect components during machining with micrometers and gauges. Experience with Heidenhain controls is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.
• Working with Heidenhain CNC controls.
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Manufacturing precision components to tight dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set tools, fixtures, work offsets and machine parameters.
• Set work offsets using probing systems and manual methods.
• Mount cutting tools and tool holders and adjust tool offsets.
• Make minor CNC programme edits where required.
• Inspect components during machining using precision measuring equipment.
