Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Setter / Operator to join their precision engineering team. The role involves setting and operating HAAS milling machines across 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis configurations, and reading engineering drawings to produce parts to tight tolerances in a modern, air-conditioned facility.

The ideal candidate will have HAAS control experience; Hypermill CAM exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller / Setter / Operator in a precision engineering environment.
• Experience with HAAS 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling and setting.
• Exposure to Hypermill or similar CAM software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines.
• Working across 3-, 4- and 5-axis mills.
• Editing programmes at the machine when required.
• Producing components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
• Maintaining high quality standards across all work.
• Supporting production in a busy machining environment.
