Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering team in Staffordshire. You will set and run 5-axis milling machines, produce components to tight drawings, and contribute to quality checks on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC 5 Axis Milling Setter/Operator experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using a variety of inspection and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, reliable and conscientious approach to work
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Responsibilities

• Set and operate 5 Axis CNC milling machines
• Produce precision components to drawing specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Carry out in-process inspection using a range of measuring equipment
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working area
• Work closely with colleagues to support production requirements
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives across the business
