Owen Daniels in Derby is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines, delivering high-precision components in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires reading engineering drawings, maintaining quality and safety standards, and achieving required productivity across multiple shifts including early, late and rotating schedules.

Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is advantageous, though not essential, and the successful candidate will work

Qualifications

• 3-axis CNC Milling experience required (set and operate).
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Milling machines (3-Axis) following SOPs.
• Produce components to drawings, tolerances and specs.
• Achieve required productivity levels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Use inspection equipment to validate finished components.
