Job summary

Stena Line is seeking a 4th Engineer to join the Stena Nordica on the Fishguard–Rosslare route. You will report to the Second Engineer and work across a variety of engineering tasks, developing your problem solving and technical skills on a passenger vessel.

Essential certifications include STCW Basic Training and ENG1, plus Survival Craft and Security Duties. This is a full-time, permanent position within the Engine department, with extensive crewing benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold STCW Basic Training and ENG1 certificates.
• Must have STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats.
• Must have STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties.
• Must hold Engineer Officer Of the Watch CoC Unlimited III/1.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties under the Second Engineer.
• Maintain and operate marine engineering systems aboard the vessel.
• Participate in watch duties and routine maintenance.
• Report faults and contribute to safety and efficiency of ship operations.
