Stena Line in Belfast is expanding its Port Operations Team and seeks hands-on professionals to join our busy port fleet. The role focuses on operating a Tugmaster, coordinating with vessel teams, and ensuring safe, efficient transfer of trailers during embarkation and disembarkation.

You will work a rotating continental shift pattern with 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off, starting with structured training in safety procedures and port operations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating large vehicles (HGVs, Tugmasters, or similar).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety and following structured procedures.
• Experience in port operations or logistics is a plus.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift Pattern: Rotating pattern of 2 days (06:00–18:00) followed by 2 nights (18:00–06:00), followed by 4 days off.

Salary: £37,015.45

We’re making a positive change to the way we work as we’re moving away from split shifts to a clear, structured straight shift pattern, giving you greater consistency and improved work-life balance.

You will now work a rotating continental shift pattern of:

• 2 days (06:00–18:00)
• 2 nights (18:00–06:00)
• Followed by 4 days off
• Please note, you would have a 24-hour break after your final day shift before transitioning to nights.

This new approach means fewer disruptions, more predictability, and better time to plan your life outside of work, all while being part of a vital, fast‑paced port operation.
