Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a fast-growing FMCG/manufacturing company in Shepton Mallet. The role focuses on the maintenance of plant machinery with both mechanical and electrical repairs, and includes a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with substantial overtime opportunities.

You will work on pasteurisers, boxers, palletisers and fillers, performing planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring safety and efficiency of operations.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Engineer with FMCG or manufacturing background.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs and fault finding.
• Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of plant and processing machinery (fillers, pasteurisers, boxers, palletisers).
• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs and fault finding.
• Perform inspections to ensure equipment is safe and efficient to run.
