Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Dumbarton is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join a busy manufacturing site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial production machinery, with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role offers in-house training, overtime to boost earnings, a 4-day week (Mon-Thu, 11:00am - 9:00pm), and a pathway to long-term development within a close-knit engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship-trained in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Commutable to Dumbarton.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial production machinery.
• Working on conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.
• Monday - Thursday, 4 x 10-hour shifts, 11:00am - 9:00pm, with some weekend overtime available.
