Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) in Crawley to keep production lines running and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on automation equipment. The role offers a 2-shift pattern, overtime, and a focus on reliability and equipment availability.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and experience with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and baggers. A 2-shift schedule is provided (42 hours/week) with overtime at time 1/4 and a full benefits

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Experience maintaining automation/manufacturing machinery.
• Good fault finding on gearboxes, motors, conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Fault finding and maintenance of motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers.
• Work in 2-shift pattern: 6:30am-4:30pm / 10:00am-7:00pm, 42 hours per week.
