Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is sourcing a Mechanical Fitter for a market-leading manufacturer in Cumnock. You will work on specialist Industrial vehicles in a workshop-based role with a 4-day week, optional overtime, and opportunities to upskill through training.

The role covers fitting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems, in a tight-knit workshop team. Hours are 7am-5:15pm Monday-Thursday, with overtime on Tue/Thu/Fri at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar.
• Able to work in a workshop environment on industrial vehicles.
• Willingness to work 4-day week and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Fitting and repair of Mechanical and Hydraulic systems for Industrial vehicles
• Workshop based on specialist projects
• Monday-Thursday role 7am-5:15pm
• Work within tight-knit team and liaise with other departments
• Optional overtime available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (first 4 hours paid 1.5x, after this 2x)
