Job summary

Client in Norwich City Centre is seeking a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer for a fully office-based role. You will be the highest tier of internal technical support, responsible for maintaining, securing, and innovating the company’s core infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on experience with virtualisation, Windows Server environments, networking, and cloud-based Office 365. On-site only, with 9-5 hours and potential out-of-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with virtualised server environments.
• Experience administering Windows Servers, Desktop OS, Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs and IP routing.
• Experience managing cloud-based Microsoft 365 email environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure core IT infrastructure on-site in Norwich.
• Provide 3rd line technical support and incident resolution.
• Participate in out-of-hours maintenance when required.

3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

My mulit award winning and very well established client, is in need of a fully office-based, 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer position located in Norwich City Centre

You will be the highest tier of internal technical support, responsible for maintaining, securing, and innovating the company s core infrastructure.

Core Technical Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have strong hands-on experience with:

• Virtualisation: Managing and configuring virtualised server environments.
• Microsoft Ecosystem: Administering Windows Servers, Desktop OS, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Networking: Configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and IP routing.
• Cloud Support: Managing cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 email environments.

Operational Expectations

• No Remote Work: The role is strictly 100% on-site at the Norwich office.
• Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• On-Call/Flexibility: You must be willing to perform out-of-hours maintenance when needed.
