Job summary

Woolmer Hill School is seeking a flexible on-call assistant to support the operation of the 3G Astroturf Pitch at the South Bromsgrove High Academy Trust. You will open and secure the premises, coordinate with facilities staff for maintenance and cleaning, and assist with lettings administration as needed.

The role involves handling usage data, liaising with stakeholders, and providing First Aid when required (training provided if not held).

Qualifications

• Role requires ability to open/close premises and secure the site.

• Handle daily financial matters related to lettings as necessary.
• Collect usage data and report to School Project Manager.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external users.
• Act as First Aider (training provided if needed).

Contract

Hours to be worked on an as needed basis by mutual agreement. May include some evening and weekend work.

Job Purpose

To assist on an as needed basis with the day to day operation of the South Bromsgrove High Academy Trust 3G Astroturf Pitch in accordance with the Academy's policies/procedures, practices and strategies.

Principal Duties

• To open/close the premises, to ensure that the facility is ready for use and is closed/secured at the end of each day.
• To liaise with the Academy's Facilities Manager and School Project Manager to arrange maintenance, cleaning and litter collection/disposal, ensuring that the centre is maintained in a good state of repair.
• To handle daily financial matters relating to lettings as necessary.
• To collect performance data, such as usage figures, and report back to School Project Manager.
• To maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers including the public, Schools, Community Groups, Sports Clubs and Stakeholders.
• To act as a First Aider (training will be provided where the relevant certificate is not currently held).
