Job summary

Norse Contracts Ltd is seeking finishing groundworkers for an ongoing Rugby site. We welcome gangs, pairs, or single operatives with proven finishing groundworks experience.

Roles cover kerbing, paving, fencing, ducting, and drainage work, reading drawings, and ensuring builds meet specifications. A reliable, punctual candidate with CSCS, CPCS/NPORS 360 (for operators), and UK right to work is preferred.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential for site access.
• Proven finishing groundworks experience (kerbing, paving, fencing, drainage).
• CPCS/NPORS 360 ticket required for operators.
• Ability to read drawings and set-out details.
• Own PPE and hand tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in small teams or independently.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Finishing groundworks to a high standard, including kerbing and edgings.
• Block paving and flagging/paving.
• Footpaths and hardstanding.
• Fencing and boundary treatments.
• Ducting and final drainage connections/gullies.
• Topsoiling, seeding, and landscaping finishes.
• Reading and working from drawings/setting-out details.
• Ensuring finished work meets specification and Building Control standards (where relevant).
• Working closely with site management to maintain programme.

We are recruiting finishing groundworkers for an ongoing site in Rugby. All setups considered - full gangs, pairs, or single operatives.

Gang Structure (where applicable)

A full gang consists of:

• 1 x 360 Excavator Operator
• 2 x Groundworkers

Pairs and single, experienced groundworkers are also welcome to apply.

• Finishing groundworks to a high standard, including:
