Job Description:

The Opportunity

As a Collecting Officer, you will join a flexible and motivated regional team, trained on how to collect legally defensible samples using methods such as urine, breath, hair, oral fluid, at customer locations. Collecting Officers are customer-focused and must follow our chain of custody process at all collections.

Locations include:

• Bristol
• Croydon
• Hounslow
• Maidstone
• Isle of Wight

What You’ll Do

• Conduct specimen collections following procedures and customer requirements to ensure quality service.
• Be available to attend collections during day, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, responding to calls promptly and arriving within 2 hours.
• Stay current with processes through reading, acknowledgment, and audits.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

• Educated to National Standards.
• Good verbal, written, and communication skills.
• IT literate with basic skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach.
• Ability to follow processes accurately.
• Driving license and own vehicle.
• Regularly review your collections to meet and exceed customer expectations and provide feedback.
• Communicate effectively to keep customers informed about their collections.
• Understand the impact of your actions and omissions, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Implement process updates promptly for the success of the Collection Network.
