The Opportunity

As a Collecting Officer, you will join a flexible and motivated regional team, trained on how to legally defensibly collect samples such as urine, breath, hair, oral fluid at customer locations. Collecting Officers are customer-focused and must follow our chain of custody process at all collections.

Locations:

Bristol, Croydon, Hounslow, Maidstone, Isle of Wight

What You’ll Do

• Conduct specimen collections following procedures and customer instructions to ensure quality.
• Be available for collections during day, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, respond promptly, and arrive within 2 hours.
• Remain current with processes through reading, acknowledgment, and audits.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

• Educated to National Standards.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• IT literate with basic skills in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to follow processes accurately.
• Driving license and own vehicle.
• Commitment to self-review and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Effective communication with customers about their collections.
• Understanding the impact of actions within the role.
• Implement process updates promptly for the success of the Collection Network.
