Job summary

Glenair in Mansfield, United Kingdom, is seeking two Injection Moulding & Toolmaking Labourers for full-time permanent roles. The positions operate on alternating shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 7:00am – 3:30pm, with duties including housekeeping, stores upkeep, and tooling handling.

• Assist Toolmakers and Injection Moulding Operatives in day-to-day tasks.

2x Injection Moulding & Toolmaking Labourers

2x full-time permanent vacancies have arisen within our Toolmaking Department. Working Alternating Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm / 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Primary Purpose of Position

• To be responsible for the housekeeping, general maintenance, and upkeep of Material Stores in Phase 7 for Toolmaking and Injection Moulding.

Areas of Business

• To ensure all machines are cleaned as required
• To ensure all work areas are clean and tidy
• To saw material into lengths as required and stamp to maintain traceability
• To deliver and obtain tooling and parts as required
• To carry out routine maintenance duties
• To laser engrave tooling/parts and material as needed
• Process orders in as they arrive
• Help snip and sort injection moulded product
• Delivery and collection of sub-contracted products
• Aid Toolmakers and Injection Moulding Operatives in day-to-day tasks

Job Requirements

• Good standard of education
• Full UK Driving License
• Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to work as a team
